Reality check
I'll let you in on a little secret....I'm incredibly spoiled.
Rebecca will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and there hasn't been a single day of her life without someone here to help me with the kids. That's right, for the last 4 weeks either John has been off work, my mom has been here or my inlaws have been here. I have yet to be alone with both of my kids for longer than 30 minutes.
It's been awesome.
I've been able to sleep late with the baby and take daily naps. I'm almost ashamed to even admit it.
However in a few days all of that will change. My inlaws will go back to Indiana and I'll be all alone.
It's going to be a harsh reality.
One that will involve very early mornings and require many cups of coffee.
Luckily I have these two to help get me through it.

What a blessing to have so much help!! Glad to hear that you have been getting your rest.
Such a cute picture!!
I don't know... do you think they can be trusted??
Aw! Look at the little pink bow! Give me a call anytime you need to get out of the house-- or we could come for a visit. I'm sure the boys would love to meet Rebecca. Love ya!
your kids are growing so much! Glad you got some rest over the last few weeks! I'll definitely have to hook up with you guys the next time I come through Seattle. Last year I barely saw the airport on my way up to Alaska and on my way down I missed the plan so I had to fly through Portland all night.
That's the way it should be!! So glad you got to experience (and ENJOY!) it!
OMG - she's beautiful! And I KNOW that feeling. I cried both times my parents left after having my kids. You seriously wonder how you can possibly handle it without them. Babies aren't the only ones who need to be weened, that's for sure
OMG OMG OMG where have I been! Rebecca is adorable!! Congrats, Kathy! How's it going without the help??
@borowk6255 - it's going well. Blake's getting into everything, but I guess that's to be expected!
That is an adorable picture!!! I know you will be able to handle it! I won't lie, I had the same kind of help initially and was terrified to have to do it all on my own. But it all has worked out fine. I can even relax for a few minutes here and there! I think that is when I became addicted to starbuck's though!!
