Another little update
I'm six weeks from my due date and I'm beginning to go into full panic mode. I haven't done much of anything with the nursery...until today. Actually the only thing I've done is wash baby clothes. I've done three full loads so far and have about another two to go. How I've accumulated so many baby clothes is beyond me (well, not exactly beyond me since I've received numerous gifts and hand-me-downs, have hit a few garage sales and have already had a baby shower.) There's just so much, and they're throwing me another shower at work later this month! Even though the amount is overwhelming, those baby girl clothes are sooooo cute! I'm loving going through everything. All the pink, purple, ruffles, bows and lace are making me a little bit giddy!
The copious amounts of pink is definitely a good problem to have, I'm just having a hard time organizing so much stuff. Part of the organizing problem comes from the fact that right now our house is in total chaos. This week we had a good portion of the inside of our house painted and the outside is currently being painted. We're replacing the carpet tomorrow and are working on painting new trim and doors for about half of the house. I guess John and I have both gone into full nesting mode and want to get the house finished before this baby comes. Right now I just want to clean and organize but I can't. I will be so glad when this house stuff is finished!
I think that's about it. It's about an hour past Blake's bedtime and he and John are currently ripping trim off the wall. It's all so exciting, I don't see bedtime anywhere in the near future. I'd better go work on that.

Are Blake and the new baby going to share a room? I'm in denial about the baby coming, although I was awake last night, scared out of my mind about labor. And yes, girl clothes are very cute, aren't they? I feel weird having showers a year and half after having them for Eva, especially since I'm having another girl, but oh well. It will be fun to see you in Seattle for Traci's wedding...
I remember that time all too well! I had that exact reaction to all the pink, purple, etc...maybe it was the fact that all the testosterone in the house was about to be evened out a little bit. Congratulations again!!!
Yay!!! It's so fun to "hear" your excitement!! Time for a phone convo!
WOW... You guys have a LOT going on right now!! How is Blake, thinking about a baby sister? Does he "get" it at all??LOVE YOU!!Hi, yeah, I'm hopefully bringing them all in August. I'm going to need Kyle's help with the baby during the wedding, so we'll bring Eva along, too. It will be our first trip with 2 kids on our laps. :)
