  • When you give a 2 year old a camera....

There is a local couple who have found an ingenious way to make big bucks.  They've attached a digital camera to their cat's collar that automatically takes pictures every 2 minutes.  They've gotten some pretty good shots and are now selling them for top dollar.

I'm thinking about doing this with my kid.

Yesterday Blake was sitting at the picnic table waiting for his lunch.  I was inside getting it ready when I heard him hollering "cheese!" repeatedly.

Being that I have a large parasite growing inside of me sucking the blood cells right out of my brain, it took me a minute to realize what he was doing.

I had apparently left my (semi-expensive) digital camera on the picnic table and he had gotten a hold of it.

    Oops!

I ran outside to find him with the camera pointed at himself making all kinds of cute, funny faces and yelling "Blake say cheese" to himself.

It was cute, but I was sure he was going to drop the camera!

Once I wrestled the camera away from him in exchange for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I took a minute to look at the pictures he had taken.  Unfortunately most of them were up-close, blurry images of grubby little fingers but some of them were ok.  I mean, they're not nearly as artistic as what your typical house cat would take, but still......

Here are a few.  I've included potential titles for each photo.  You're welcome.

And finally, my favorite...."Spring with a side of ear."

Not bad huh?  I wonder how much I could get for these.  In this economy, this kid needs to start earning his keep.
